The Tonar Wetgoat Brush is a purpose-built tool for wet cleaning vinyl records, designed to support accurate groove cleaning and long-term sound quality preservation. It is intended for use with liquid record cleaning solutions and manual wet cleaning routines.
The brush uses natural goat hair bristles, a material chosen for its ability to penetrate deep into the record grooves while remaining gentle on the vinyl surface. This allows effective lifting and removal of dirt, residue, and contaminants without scratching or damaging delicate grooves. Goat hair is particularly well suited for distributing cleaning fluid evenly across the record surface during wet cleaning.
An ergonomically shaped wooden handle provides a comfortable and stable grip, allowing controlled pressure during cleaning. The lightweight construction makes the brush easy to handle, even during longer cleaning sessions, and suitable for regular use as part of a vinyl maintenance routine.
The Tonar Wetgoat Brush is compatible with all standard vinyl records and is not intended as a dry anti-static brush. For dry dust removal, a carbon fibre brush should be used instead.
