Made from pure felt without chemical additives, this turntable mat naturally emphasizes bass and midrange frequencies, contributing to a warm and rounded sound profile. Integrated into the record label area is a stroboscope disc, allowing visual speed control for 33, 45, and 78 rpm when used with 50 Hz or 60 Hz strobe lamps.

The Mat Eight is not anti-static coated, as true anti-static properties can only be achieved through chemical treatments. Unlike carbon-based mats such as the Analogis Mat Five, this model relies on untreated natural fibres. If required, the felt surface can be treated with an anti-static spray suitable for clothing.

Finished in black, the soft felt construction makes the Mat Eight suitable both for sonic tuning and for use as a slipmat in DJ scratch applications. It can also serve as a replacement for standard rubber platter mats.
